Dingle Oceanworld commissioned this project with a clear ambition: create Ireland's first fully immersive marine experience. I came on board as creative consultant and project manager, working on behalf of Oceanworld to brief, direct, and deliver the experience alongside Dublin-based immersive studio Algorithm.
Deep Atlantic takes visitors 200 metres beneath the Atlantic, following a humpback whale along the Porcupine Ridge off the Kerry coast. Projected 360° across every surface of the auditorium using Algorithm's patent-pending Orbit technology, it's a six-minute journey through bioluminescent deep sea – interactive, cinematic, and conservation-led.
I shaped the creative vision, managed the client-agency relationship, and ensured the experience aligned with Oceanworld's education and conservation mission. The experience premiered at the Dingle Animation Festival in March 2023 and remains a permanent exhibit.
